Colombian Consensus - Black Tea and Coffee Blend

Recently, we received a large selection of samples from our partners, Bitaco tea company, in La Cumbre, Colombia. One of samples was a black tea and coffee blend. Just because the idea was so daring, we had to try it. And to our horror, we liked it!

If you are one of those who find yourself at moments debating whether to drink tea or coffee, try our Tea-n-Coffee blend. A masterful blend of high-mountain black tea and premium coffee by Colombian tea makers, it should ease your craving for both in one single cup. Or, if you feel the need to break your coffee habit and switch to tea. This could be your bridge to the tea world.

DRY LEAF: Long wiry leaves and whole roasted coffee beans. Rich coffee smells that blends well with the tea aroma.

WET LEAF: Leaves turn dark brown and the nose of tea is still prominent amidst the coffee aroma.

CUP: The liquor is amber with a golden tinge. Notes of coffee and berries blend in well with the malt of the tea and subtle tannins. On the palate warm roasted coffee notes come to the forefront, followed by the tea flavors. It somehow works really well. It’s a masterful blend. The tea maker has done the impossible!
