Our spring-picked Mao Feng comes from the mountains of Huang Shan in Anhui Province. Delicate layers of fine taste notes make this green tea greatly enjoyable. Huang Shan Mao Feng is one of China top ten teas.
LEAF: Delicately rolled long leaves, yellowish green with downy over. Sweet toasty notes emanate. Since these were picked early spring, the bud set comprise of one bud and a leaf. Fresh and clean.
INFUSED LEAF: Light green with the bud sets becoming more visible. Light orchid and sweet grass notes.
CUP: Pale liquor with floral (light jasmine and orchid mix) and toasted nut (think pecan) notes. The body has a highly enjoyable light buttery texture. The sweet lingering finish at the end makes this a truly exceptional tea.
