Alishan Qingxin Oolong Tea, Winter 2019

Fragrant, buttery and sweet this batch of Alishan oolong tea from winter 2019 is a delight. Winter oolongs are generally considered to be less fragrant than the spring harvest but this tea bucks convention. Every sip yields an elevating mix of jasmine, lilac and lilies. This oolong tea leaves the mouth refreshed with a menthol like after affect.  

STEEPING TIPS

Use 3 gm per 8-10 oz cup
3 mins, resteep 5 mins
Water temp: 180F


Gong Fu style:
6 gm in a 150 ml gaiwan
Water temp: 180F
Steeping times: 1 min, 30 sec, 40 sec, 50 sec, 1.20 min
