Himalayan Spring - Nepal Organic Black Tea - Spring 2021, Jun Chiyabari Tea Estate

10 reviews

A delicious spring tea from our partners in Nepal, the organic tea estate of Jun Chiyabari. Mellow and rounded this tea scored highly in our selection of spring teas this year.

DRY LEAF: Lightly rolled wiry leaves that are full of tips. Wildflower notes.
WET LEAF: Yields an olive green hue with sweet peachy and a floral nose.
CUP: A pale amber cup with a sweet floral aroma. Brisk, clean, mellow, rounded and a balanced tea with notes that recall green mangoes, earthy, and wildflowers. Sweet in every sip.

2021 Jun C is spectacular I would give it 6 stars if i could

I just finished my 1st cup of 2021 Himalayan spring. It is spectacular. I keep writing of the superlative tastes year after year, but some years and teas do stand out, and we wait patiently for the gods to align the temperature and the rain to create perfection. This year they did with 2021 Himalayan Spring, which has been my 1st choice in a prior year too. I think Jun C beats the best of the Aryas from years past. I will of course taste the 3 other 2021 Darjeeling's. As each of those estates have made it to the top 2 in some years. Stay tuned. I will send blessings to India and all of South Asia, as we watch in sadness all that unfolds. If you love Indian/Nepali tea please reach out to one or more of your electeds in DC and ask that the vaccine patent be removed, so we can vaccinate the world as soon as possible, and our hearts can smile again. Niraj pls set aside my years supply of Jun C before posting this review.

When making our tea selections, we always ask would Ruhi like this? So glad you're pleased with our Himalayan Spring. It's a glorious tea despite the difficult growing conditions of this year. Thanks for sending blessings to India - the sadness over there breaks our hearts. We'll add our prayers to yours and hope things begin to improve soon. May each cup bring you happiness and peace dear Ruhi!

Great service, great tea!

I recently purchased a Spring 2019 Himalayan Nepal Tea - it's great! My order shipped very quickly, and included a small bonus bag of an additional tea - much appreciated! The product itself was fresh and tastes great. Thanks!

Knowledgeable Staff, Delicious Tea and a Relaxing Environment

We discovered this little gem through an on-line article that listed the 10 best tea houses in the World. We were thrilled to find out that one of the ten was in Rochester. The rated is well-deserved. We enjoyed everything about our experience. We also purchase tea and take it home so the deliciousness and relaxation continue...
