Himalayan Supreme is back after a year-long hiatus. This handcrafted tea shines with peach notes and a delicate honey accent. Very satisfying and refined! 

DRY LEAF: A beautiful tea with well rolled leaves and abundant tips.

WET LEAF: Light brown hues with nose that is a mix of floral and nutty.

CUP: Light amber cup with notes of peach, roasted pecans, sandalwood and brown sugar. The liquor is medium body and clean. Silky smooth. 

STEEPING TIPS

   1 tbsp for a 8-12 oz cup

  200°F 

   3-5 mins 

 

ORIGIN

Jun Chiyabari, established in 2001, is an organic tea garden in the eastern Himalayan region of Nepal. Located in the hills around the small town of Hile in Dhankuta district North 27o 01' East 087o 19' at an altitude of 1600-2000 meters / 5000-6000 feet above sea level. This is approximately 200 km east from Kathmandu; 55 km west of Ilam in Nepal and 65 km west of Darjeeling, India.

Tried two new teas and we love them! Himalayan Supreme and Roch Cha Chai. Was gifted a tea pot from the shop for my upcoming birthday that we love to use often with our new teaslook forward to visiting Happy Earth Tea for more!

My all-time favorite

The years when this tea was not available, I went through mental withdrawal symptoms. I don't drink this daily, as I want to come to it afresh and also want to make it last. The earthiness has a quality that definitely takes me back to trekking in Nepal. Not a strong, dark tea, but such wonderful character!
