A delicate high mountain oolong with fruity and floral notes from the high mountains of Alishan, Taiwan. Deep fruity notes of pineapple and mangoes make this spring oolong delightful. Clean finish.   


DRY LEAF: Well rolled, sharp green. Light floral and earthy.
INFUSED LEAF: Deep buttery and floral nose.
CUP: Bright cup with a greenish-yellow hue. Light floral notes mingle with the fruity tones. A sweet lingering aftertaste. Exquisite!

STEEPING TIPS

   1 tsp (2.5 gm)  for 8 oz cup

   180°F

  This tea is good for multiple steeps. 3 min / 5 min

Gongfu style:
Cover the bottom of your vessel you are using with a single and uniform layer of tea.
Use near boiling water.
Steeps: 1 min, 30 secs, 45 secs, 50 secs, 1 min, 1:10 mins

Alishan Qingxin Ooling Tea, Spring 2021

It was really delicious. I followed directions for the first and second pour and both cups of tea were delightful. I wonder if you could indicate on the label, though, the amount of tea to use in cooking teaspoons. Probably very few people will weigh such a small amount, then will use too much or too little.

A tea for meditation

This is a light flowery green spring tea. It is smooth and silky, I often think of sitting on a moss covered hill when I drink this. I love making this tea for my morning meditation and writings. It has a fresh morning air taste, mild, light and airy. Make sure you drink this tea in a special cup it is that special.
