Bai Hao also known as Dong Feng Mei Ren and Oriental Beauty is one of the most famous and prized oolong teas from Taiwan. Made from leaves bitten by leaf hopper bugs which help the tea leaves begin to oxidize prior to plucking. This legendary tea has sweet notes that are well balanced and sublime. It often recalls some of the best Darjeeling second flush teas.
DRY LEAF: Lightly rolled and tippy, the leaves have aroma of dark honey, brown sugar and plum.
INFUSED LEAF: Dark brown and dark olive hues with a strong nose of plum, molasses and mineral.
CUP: Amber color that with strong honeyed aroma. A stone fruit sweetness characterizes the cup. Smooth body with a lingering sweet aftertaste.

Water temp: 190F
Steeping time: 3 mins

Fill three quarters of your gaiwan or tea pot with tea.
