2This Baozhong from Wenshan mountains is one of the best oolong tea styles we have available. It has a beautiful floral fragrance with a buttery touch to make for a very satisfying cup.
DRY LEAF: Lightly rolled thin leaves a light floral.
INFUSED LEAF: The leaves are smaller denoting the early spring pick. A beautiful floral nose.
CUP: The liquor is pale yellow and clean. High in floral jasmine notes. Buttery with hints of lichee. Leaves a lingering freshness in the mouth.
STEEPING TIPS
Use 1 heaping tbsp (3 gm) for 8 oz cup
Water temp: 170-176 F
Steeping time: 2-3 mins
Gong fu style
Fill three quarters of gaiwan (8 gm)
Water temp: 176-180F
Steeping time: 1 min, 30 sec, 40 sec, 50 sec, 1 minute...
