
Baozhong Wenshan Oolong Tea - Spring 2022, Taiwan
3A lightly oxidized oolong, Baozhong from Wenshan mountains bears a soothing floral floral fragrance with a light buttery touch. It's pure spring character makes for a sublime and a meditative cup. We have a smaller batch than usual this year since our first shipment sadly was lost in transit.
DRY LEAF: Lightly rolled thin leaves a light floral.
INFUSED LEAF: Light oxidation on the edges; a beautiful floral nose
CUP: The liquor is pale yellow and clean. Subline floral notes. Leaves a lingering freshness in the mouth.
STEEPING TIPS
Use 1 heaping tbsp (3 gm) for 8 oz cup
Water temp: 170-176 F
Steeping time: 3-5 mins
Gong fu style
Fill three quarters of gaiwan (8 gm)
Water temp: 190F
Steeping time: 1 min, 30 sec, 40 sec, 50 sec, 1 minute...
