Here is a strong black tea from Darjeeling that will pair perfectly with your breakfast or your exotic afternoon nibbles. With strong cocoa and muscatel notes this tea is a great choice for those who are looking for a robust but yet an elegant black tea.
Compared to Assam, which is the base for most breakfast blend teas, this tea is feels much lower on acidity. Also it does not have the Assam malty character but the refined fruity notes more than compensates for it.
A splash of milk and this tea will transport you to the tea room of Calridge's in London.
1 level tbsp or 3 gm per 8 oz cup
Milk and sweetener optional

This is a very nice morning black tea, full bodied but delicate and smooth. A rare find in Rochester.
This one really helps you to wake you up and give you energy in the morning. What a good boost to the day and start it out right. It's strong but without the bitterness and I find I don't even need to drink coffee in the morning while drinking this. Does not give you the jitters or feels like you had too much caffeine.
I've had this breakfast tea every day this week and it is perfect to start my weekday morning. I can get three good steeps out of one scoop which brings me through the whole morning. It has the depth of flavor I want from an Irish breakfast blend but without the harshness of too much tannin that Irish breakfast can also impart. Very excited to have a new breakfast tea!!
