Puttabong, Organic Darjeeling Tea - First Flush 2022

DESCRIPTION

The 2022 spring tea from Puttabong tea estate is a classic organic Darjeeling first flush, well rounded in its "light and bright" character.  Notes of peach, sweet grass, green mangoes with a slight earthy hint make this a delicious cup.

Puttabong is one of the oldest tea gardens in Darjeeling their craftmanship in making premium teas stands out.

DRY LEAF: The leaves are well rolled, moderately tippy and with grassy, wildflower aromas.
WET LEAF: The colors are a mix of bright green and brown, giving off an earthy, sweet floral nose.
CUP: Pale amber with light floral aroma. Mellow, earthy, floral notes of geraniums, green mangoes with a brisk invigorating finish.
