DRY TEA: Wiry, well rolled handsome tea with dark fruity and chocolate smells. It is an usual from other Keemuns in that the leaf size for Mao Feng is larger. You also get slight hint of smoke, camphor and pepper in this batch of dry tea.
INFUSION: Deep copper appearance with a nose of ripe apricot, caramel and dark wood.
CUP: Dark amber with a lovely bouquet and a "touch of fire." There is a grapeyness in the cup along with almond notes. This is a robust cup with great balance and very little astringency.
