Japan started making sencha green tea in the 18th century. The leaves are steamed, pressed, then rolled and dried into loose leaf. This organic Japanese green tea is one of the most popular green teas in Japan. The inherent sweetness of this green tea can be enjoyed if you have it with a savory snack.
