This batch of the tea comes from the high elevation of Shan Lin Xi. Steeped in traditional gong fu style our Dong Ding tea starts off with light floral creaminess, spice (cloves), fruit (berries) and a mild sweetness. The floral accents get increasingly prominent in later steeps, along with the finish that gets sweeter. Long after the tea has been had a sweetness rises in the throat - a desirable character in a high quality tea.
