For those in search of a potent yet elegantly velvety tea, this organic Himalayan Black tea presents an impeccable choice.
DRY LEAF: Long wiry leaves with an unusual crispness for teas from the Himalayas. Recalls wuyi rock oolong tea in appearance, but with more finer leaves. Rich aroma of dark chocolate and caramel.
INFUSION: The leaves appear cocoa brown with a nose of chocolate, caramel and spice.
CUP: The liquor is dark honey with a sweet fruity fragrance. A delicate creaminess coats the palate with rich notes of molasses, cinnamon and almonds. Long sweet aftertaste.
