DESCRIPTION

A classic organic green tea from China - one of China’s Ten Famous Teas (teas previously enjoyed only by the Emperor). Also known as Longjing, this beautiful green tea with a distinct appearance is made by artisan tea makers. The budsets are finely plucked during mid-spring and painstakingly flattened, each leaf appearing like a sparrow’s beak or a papyrus sword.

On steeping, the Jade Mountain organic green tea gives up a straw-colored liquor with a hint of amber. It has a fragrant floral bouquet with a smooth refreshing mouthfeel.

STEEPING TIPS

   1 teaspoon for an 8-10 oz. cup

   170-180°F 

 2 minutes. Multiple infusions up to three times possible
