Our founder, a native of India, renamed his favorite chai recipe in tribute to his adopted home town of Rochester, NY. Despite the cold winters, Rochester’s people have made him and his family feel as warm and welcome as a spicy cuppa. 

Ingredients: Organic Black tea, organic ginger, organic cardamom, organic clove, organic cinnamon, organic pepper 

STEEPING TIPS

   1 tbsp for 8-12 oz cup

   212°F

   3-4 mins

 

Enjoy plain or with milk and sugar

Rich Cha Chai for Xmas Presents!

I wanted to buy local for my aunts who live in Rochester and found your tea shop based on good reviews of the tea, and then fell in love with the name and look of this one’s tin (plus at a great price!). It shipped so fast and wasn’t crazy expensive shipping either. I also loved getting the email asking if I wanted to include a hand written note, you all are so thoughtful!!! The only thing is I ended up getting 1 tin of chai and 1 of the holiday spice when I had ordered 2 chai. But it didn’t bother me because both tins look great and they are both festive teas I am excited to give as presents. Thank you!!
