Nepal Earthquake Fundraiser

Together with the Rochester Brainery, we will be hosting a fundraiser for Nepal earthquake victims this Saturday. As many of you know, we have strong ties to Nepal, both in terms of our Nepali tea offerings and with our social partner Ama Foundation. The natural disaster there has left us heartbroken, but strongly determined to help.

Please join us for an afternoon of Nepali tea with traditional Nepali snacks of momos (vegetarian dumplings) and aloo dum (spicy potatoes) for $10 per person. There will also be a small silent auction of items and gift cards generously donated by local businesses including The Red Fern, Joe Bean Coffee Roasters, Restaurant Good Luck, Cure, One World Goods, Hart's Local Grocers, us and more.

All proceeds will be equally divided between Ama Foundation and international relief agency CARE currently working in the affected parts of Nepal. Ama Foundation provides housing and education to abandoned children in Kathmandu.
