We are delighted to announce the availability of 2014 autumn flush teas from Jun Chiyabari, Nepal. The quality of teas from this certified Organic tea garden continue to amaze us. As the owners of Jun Chiyabari told us, they are putting a lot of energy into producing high quality teas. It clearly shows.

Besides crafting some of the finest teas, you'd be pleased to know that Jun Chiyabari also is committed to the socioeconomic upliftment of the region in which the tea garden is situated. Nearly 80% of the 200+ workforce in the garden are women. Also breaking with tradition, many women have been appointed in supervisory roles both in the field and the factory. Also they are paid as much as men!

By empowering women, Jun Chiyabari seeks to turn around the fortune of at least a small part of a country that is beautiful and pristine, but continues to be bedeviled by poverty. By buying their tea you can help them towards this goal.
