The tea comes from Arunachal Pradesh, a state in the remotest part of India. Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas it borders China, Myanmar and Bhutan. Because it is considered a "sensitive border area", outside visitors even Indian nationals need special permit from the government to enter this area. 

The pristine nature of this place is reflected in this heavenly brew with its vegetal brightness, sweet corn essence, plum sophistication, and earthy undertones. We have a very limited stock of this tea.

DRY LEAF: Small tips covered by silvery down that show great care in plucking and processing. Sweet and a delicate earthy aroma rise from the dry leaf.

WET LEAF: Notes of sweet corn, plum and a vegetal brightness greets the nose.

CUP: Light golden color that yields a harmonious dance of flavors. The initial impression is one of a gentle vegetal brightness that awakens your palate, followed by a distinct sweetness, reminiscent of freshly picked sweet corn.
