We are excited to introduce Himalayan Shiiba, a rare and exceptional green tea cultivated on the revered organic tea farm, Jun Chiyabari, nestled in the pristine hills of Nepal. This exquisite tea owes its uniqueness to a group of wild tea trees, carefully transplanted from the village of Shiiba in Japan's Miyazaki prefecture. With only a limited number of these tea plants in existence in Nepal, Himalayan Shiiba is crafted in extremely small batches each year, making it a treasure for true tea connoisseurs.

DRY LEAF: The leaves present a clean, dark green appearance with a slightly toasty, light woody aroma. They are highly uniform reflecting great care in the picking of the leaves. 

WET LEAF: Upon steeping, the wet leaves reveal a bouquet of floral and fruity scents, with tantalizing notes of pineapple and mangoes that hint at the tea's vibrant character. You might see some browning of a leaf or two indicating some oxidation, which is unusual for a green tea. But in deference to the tea makers we will retain its green tea categorization. 

CUP:  In the cup, Himalayan Shiiba delivers a complex yet harmonious flavor profile: a gentle sweetness intertwined with a vegetal and a delicate floral undertone along with a creamy texture. The finish is long-lasting and sweet, leaving a memorable impression on the palate.
