DESCRIPTION

This pure Ceylon tea is an expertly crafted full-bodied black tea with notes of honey and caramel from the award-winning tea estate of New Vithanakande located in the lush hills of central Sri Lanka.. This pristine environment makes for some lovely tea.

The green leaf for this tea estate is sourced from nearby villagers, numbering nearly 6000. The economic impact of this enterprise is spread throughout the local community.

DRY LEAF: Small soft and wiry leaves, abundantly tippy that smell of dark chocolate and pepper.

INFUSION: Dark brown leaves that have rich fruity and caramel notes.

CUP: A bright amber liquor with notes of dark honey, caramel. Full body, smooth and with a satisfying complexity.
