The plant ashwagandha (withania somnifera), is also referred to as Indian ginseng, poison gooseberry, or winter cherry. It is a plant in the Solanaceae or nightshade family.
Stir about 1/2 tsp in 8 oz of lukewarm water or milk and drink it.
Ayurvedic practice recommends to ingest Ashwagandha around 2 hours after meal to avoid indigestion. Drinking around bedtime is best.
