Da Hong Pao is one of the most famous oolongs of China. It comes from Wuyi region located in northern Fujian, also known as Bohea the birthplace of "modern" Chinese tea. Grown in rocky soil of Wuyi mountains, Da Hong Pao is most prized for it sweet caramel taste and also its history.
The rich flavors of the tea tastes of maple, caramel and apricots, along with a roasted undertone.
