Introducing our first tea from Sri Lanka! Expertly crafted full-bodied black tea with honey notes and light fruity accents from an award-winning* tea estate of New Vithanakande. 

DRY LEAF: Small soft and wiry leaves, abundantly tippy that smell of dark chocolate and pepper.

INFUSION: Dark brown leaves that have rich fruity and caramel notes.

CUP: A bright amber liquor with notes of dark honey, caramel. Full body, smooth and with a satisfying complexity.

STEEPING TIPS

   1 tsp or 2.5 gm per 8 oz cup

   200-212 F

My mother-in-law and I visited

My mother-in-law and I visited the Leaf Tea Bar recently for the first time. She ordered the Keenum Hao Ya and I ordered the Ceylon Black. When we tasted our teas and each other's, we liked each other's better! So, although I would give Ceylon Black 4 stars, I give Keenum Hao Ya five stars. Jane treated us well; she was helpful and friendly. We will return!
